Photodiodes, also known as photocells, are electronic detectors that convert light into electrical current. They are used for a wide range of applications including light sensing, optical switches, and digital imaging. Photodiodes consist of a semiconductor junction that emits electrons when exposed to light. The label on the unit box will be marked with following information. The serial number can be easily scanned from the bar code label.
